To continue the theme of welcoming new members to our field staff we here at CHJ would like to welcome Abby one of the newest and smallest members of our four legged field staff members.

Abby is a four and half month old Brittany, the second Brittany and third upland dog in our arsenal. So far in her young life she looks very promising, with a very strong will and an instinct to stare and shake uncontrollably at the birds and squirrels that torment her dally.

She will begin her training shortly, but for now we are just enjoying all the love and joy she has brought to our lives.

We at CHJ got a couple of great pheasant hunting dogs but we’ve yet to bring a waterfowl dog on board until now. Gunner will be a new addition to the CHJ field staff and he will be home and ready to hunt for the 2011 Waterfowl season. We’ve teamed up with Ace’s Retrievers to dial in an English lab pup. Here’s a video of him doing some retrieves. He hasn’t had any obedience training.
